Cindy Shin
Managing Director,
The Nielsen Company Japan

Cindy Shin has extensive knowledge of Nielsen business, having worked across all product groups in The Nielsen Company Korea since joining Nielsen in 1995. Cindy has been instrumental in driving total client solutions and Industry Practice Group business in Korea, and was a winner of a Global Award for Excellence.
Following her appointment as Managing Director in 2007, She has significantly contributed to the considerable growth of Nielsen business in Korea over the past year under her leadership.
Before joining the Company, she taught in several universities, including Korea University, Yonsei University, and Utah State University. She holds a Ph. D in Psychology majoring in Research and Evaluation Methodology from Utah State University.

Yuta Kaneko

Yuta Kaneko joined The Nielsen Company Japan in 2001. Under his leadership over the past 7 years, Meditech has dramatically grown both revenue and operating income and achieved an excellent revenue balance. Meditech’s success can be attributed to a visionary strategy implemented by a highly professional team, with an excellent blend of research skills and pharmaceutical industry knowledge and experience. It is a great role model for other IPGs in Japan and elsewhere to emulate.
Prior to joining Nielsen, he spent 4 years with Nippon Glaxo, followed by 9 years in progressively more senior roles at Dentsu Sudler & Hennessey, a specialized advertising agency serving the needs of the pharmaceuticals industry.
He is a graduate of Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo.
